How we fix a sick baby

We really try to avoid meds in this house unless they are really needed. Jake has only been on antibiotics once and for fevers we try everything we can to bring one down before resorting to meds. So on Monday when Jake randomly spiked a fever we stripped him down and put him in a cool bath. He wasn't really feeling up to playing around in the tub (and we wanted him to relax) so we rigged up the portable dvd player for him to watch while sitting in the tub. And then he asked for a popsicle. Well he was in the tub where any drips would be contained so why not!

Unfortunately dude still had a fever after the cool bath so meds it was. They helped quickly  though and by Tuesday mid morning he was back to himself again!
