4th of July
We had a fabulous 4th of July this year. We went swimming (as we do almost daily) in the morning. Last year we had a bbq with our neighborhood friends and it was so much fun we decided to do it again. So this year we started at one of our friends house for appetizers and drinks then headed over to our house for dinner. Josh made burgers on the grill, I made chocolate dipped s'mores and everyone brought sides. The kids ran around and played and some actually sat down and ate. After we ate, some of us headed out to our city's 4th of July festivities. They have a kids area there with a ton of bounce houses and then you can set up on the fields for fireworks. So again the kids played and ran around. Jake and his friend Jordan were so cute. They were walking around holding hands and then laid next to each other on our blanket watching fireworks. I love having such great friends in our neighborhood with kids our kids ages. We live in such a great place.
