Lots of fall activities going on around here. We have been busy and still have things to do before the fall is over. A few weekends ago our neighborhood had a fall festival. They had a petting zoo and a bounce house and when it got dark had a movie outside. We made it to the first part, but didn't stay for the movie. Unfortunately about 30-45 minutes after we got out there it started pouring. We had to hang out under a canopy until it stopped. That also meant most of the other people headed home which was a little disappointing for Josh since he is one of the HOA board members that helped put this together. But Jake did get a chance to hang out with the animals and jump in the bounce house for a while so it wasn't a total loss.
The next weekend we headed to the pumpkin patch with Grammy. We have been going to the same pumpkin patch for 3 years. They have a bunch of free activities that Jacob loves and they usually have a good selection of pumpkins. Jake really wanted to shoot pumpkins from the catapult this year, but they stopped before we got over there to watch. But he did get to go on the hay ride and play in the bounce house and we got a massive pumpkin. Josh actually weighed it before we carved it and it was 39.5lbs, about the same as Jacob.
Going through the maze. He looks like such a big kid here
My lovey
